Which is better, Glass or Resin?
When choosing between glass and resin for your finished jewellery, the decision can be a tough one. Both have their own unique qualities, advantages and disadvantages. In this blog, we will compare the two, to help you to make an informed decision as to which will serve you best.
When choosing which is best between glass and resin jewellery, it is important to factor in these considerations. If you’re looking for a low maintenance, strong and durable option, then glass is ideal but is only available in a limited range of items. Resin however offers much greater possibilities at a lower cost, both are good options as long as care instructions are adhered to carefully, so the choice is yours to make.
Why Choose Glass?
Glass is much harder wearing than resin, it requires minimum care with a timeless finish and it will not yellow or fade over time. However we are limited as to what shapes and sizes we can offer.
Why Choose Resin?
Resin offers a more flexible option. We can create it in any shape, add glitter for a lovely sparkle in a huge range of colours and we can include hair or fur in which can be seen clearly (unlike glass where the hair/fur may melt), resin offers a wider choice of items and at a cheaper cost.

It’s absolutely stunning, I was a little wary of ordering as I wasn’t sure if it was something I could do. I asked my friend to do all the necessary bits for me.
