A favourite keepsake for many new mums, a fine silver fingerprint necklace, every fingerprint is unique and so every piece of fingerprint jewellery will vary and therefore be unique to you. Very young baby's do not have well defined fingerprints, so this option is perfect to capture your keepsake in fine silver, that you press the back of the fingernail into the putty or the whole top part of the front of the finger, not just the fingertip as this will give us more detail to work with and create your beautiful keepsake, as the putty will capture the lines and creases even if the fingerprint is not yet defined, the fingertip will be impressed into the silver charm. Fine silver fingertip jewellery is perfect for either a baby or an older child/adult as the amount of the fingertip that goes onto the charm gets less the larger the fingertip is.  We can normally add a first name to your charm if there is room, if there is not room on the front of the charm then we will be able to add this to the reverse of the charm, please bear in mind that unlike the engraved charms, there is limited room for text on these charms, so if adding a long name then this will be engraved onto the back of the charm. This fine silver fingertip necklace comes complete with an 18" silver, fine snake chain and is presented in a gift box, a really lovely and unique baby keepsake.

After placing your order, we will send you one of our special fingerprint putty kits and instructions on how to capture your fingertips, once completed, you then need to return these to us to enable us to begin creating your finished piece for you, which will take approx. 2 weeks from receiving these back.

Fine silver is softer than normal silver and it will have slight bumps and imperfections in the finished piece, this is natural and to be expected, this is made by hand and is not mass produced by a machine, each piece will be lovingly created by our specialist keepsake artists to the highest quality. These pieces normally take up to 21 days to be completed, so please order in plenty of time for any occasion and bear in mind that at very busy time i.e. Mother's Day and Christmas, we will be very busy and the lead time may be a little longer than normal, please place your orders early to ensure they are done in time for any special occasions.
