The fingerprints of young babies are not as well developed as older children; therefore with a younger baby it is best to either press the back of the finger (with the nail) into the putty or press the whole of the top of their finger into the putty, capturing the shape of the finger and the lines and creases instead of just the fingertip, we will just fit the part that fits on the charm onto your jewellery charm. Some people like to take the impression of the back of a baby’s finger; this will show all the little creases and the nail impression instead of the lines of a fingerprint, this can be done for any age and as an alternative to the traditional fingerprint charm, but instructions will be sent with your putty kits, so you can decide then how you would like them done. For very young babies, you may wish to choose a silver hand or footprint impression charm from our photo engraved jewellery collection, rather than a fingerprint charm, these can be worn together if you want to order one of each but the choice is yours, we will make the best piece from the impressions you send us and advice is given on how to get the best impression for your fingerprint jewellery. This necklace has two charms and you can choose two charms the same shape or two different shapes, either option looks amazing, they will be attached to the sterling silver, fine curb chain separately so you can display them whichever way around you prefer. After placing your order, we will send you the putty kits to take your fingerprint impressions and all the details so that we can finish your jewellery exactly as you want it, simply return the prints to us and as soon as we receive them, we will set about creating your unique fingerprint charms for you.

As each piece of fingerprint jewellery is individually made to order, please allow up to 14 days for completion of your finished piece, please order in plenty of time before an event and bear in mind that at extra busy times i.e. Mother's Day and Christmas we are extremely busy and these items may take slightly longer, so please order early to avoid any disappointment, we will normally do our utmost to get your jewellery out to you in good time though.

After placing your order, you will receive packs of our special putty and instructions on how to capture the best impressions to create your finished jewellery, once these are returned to us, we will then begin creating your order, normally 14 days, once completed, this item will come complete in a FREE GIFT Packaging presented as a luxury, keepsake gift.
