Fine silver fingerprint necklace, our fingerprint jewellery is still a favourite keepsake and this necklace is made especially for you, every single fingerprint is unique and so every piece of fingerprint jewellery will vary and therefore be totally unique to you and the print will be an exact replica of your child's print this is a great way to keep their memory close to your heart.  Very young babies do not have well defined fingerprints, the prints will begin to become more defined from approx. 18 months of age, generally speaking the older the child the more defined it becomes, so these work best for older children rather than young babies, if you have a young baby you can choose to have our fingertip jewellery range which captures the end of their finger instead, this is taken in the same way as the fingerprints, just that you press the whole of the back of the finger into the putty instead, which creates a detailed and unique piece which is more interesting and personal than just a dent in the silver where the fingerprint has no definition, please do ask advice if you are unsure and we will be able to advise you accordingly, so that you can get the best piece for your child's age group, we want you to get a jewellery piece that you will love and treasure, please ask if unsure.  We can normally add a first name to the reverse of these charms, please bear in mind that there is limited room for text on these charms, so we can only add a first name or initials if they have a long name, please ask advice if you need a longer name before purchase and we will be happy to let you know if we can do it or not.  This fingerprint necklace comes complete with an 18" sterling silver, fine curb chain and is presented in a luxury gift box, a really lovely and unique baby keepsake. There is a choice of different shapes available, so please choose from the drop down box to choose your desired charm shape for your finished necklace. This style has the name on the back if there is room and the front is dedicated to your print.

After placing your order, we will send you one of our special fingerprint putty kits and instructions on how to use it, these are very simple to do and full instructions are given, it is very easy to do; once completed you then need to return these to us to enable us to begin creating your finished piece for you, which will take approx. 14 days from when we receive the moulds back, please allow extra time at very busy times of the year like Mother's Day and Christmas, we take a mould of this actual impression so every piece is unique and every detail that is captured in the putty will be replicated in your unique jewellery.

Fine silver is softer than normal sterling silver and your finished jewellery will have slight bumps and imperfections in the finished piece, this is natural and to be expected and is part of the charm of having fine silver jewellery hand-made especially for you, all are made to a very high standard though. These pieces are all made by hand and is not mass produced by a machine, each piece will be lovingly created by our specialist keepsake artists to the highest quality and will be unique to you as each is made from your individual fingerprint mould, making it totally unique to you. These pieces normally take up to 14 days to be completed, so please order in plenty of time for any occasion and bear in mind that at very busy time i.e. Mother's Day and Christmas, we will be very busy and the lead time may be a little longer than normal, please place your orders early to ensure they are done in time for any special occasions.
